Background information:

Geesje^5 Van Wicklen
(Paul^4, Garret^3, Gerrit^2, Jentie^1 Jeppes) was b. 15 Sept 1771, Poughkeepsie, NY and bap. 8 March 1772 in the Poughkeepsie Dutch Reformed Church, Dutchess Co. (As Harry Macy notes in personal correspondence to me 28 August 1999, On 8 March 1772 Paulus Van Eckelen and Hendricke Remse had a child baptized in the Poughkeepsie Dutch Reformed Church, Dutchess Co., but the child's name was omitted from the register. The child was b. 15 Sept 1771. This could be Geesje, but it is also possible that this was not the only child born to Paul and Hendrickje after 1765--when Isaac was baptized on L.I.)

Children: William^6 Mackey was bap. 5 March 1973, Coeymans Dutch Reformed Church, Albany Co., NY--the same day that Isaac had a child baptized; Magrita^6 Mackey was b. 25 March 1796 and bap. 15 June 1796, Dutch Reformed Church at Coxsackie, Albany Co., NY; Hendrik^6 Mackey was b. 21 September 1798 and bap. 1799 at Coxsackie, Albany Co., NY

Harry Macy archive file at NYG&BS Library, as reported in a letter to J. Van Wicklin 28 August 1999.

In record of birth and baptism of Margrita Mackey in the Reformed Church of Coxsackie, Greene, NY, Geesje's maiden name is listed as Van Weekly, similar to the way her brothers' (John and Garret) surname appears in the 1790 US Census.
